After failing the previous attempt, I followed the recommended video to a tee. I put a 30 degree cut after every two segments between the leaves, pulled off the lower leaves with my fingers and left the upper ones. I rolled the cut end in root hormone powder, put it in a small dish filled with perlite, and kept it misted daily (with artificial light only). I used a clear plastic storage container that I turned upside down, with the lid underneath it formed a decent seal to keep moisture in. I sprayed it about twice a day, and it seemed to soak it up quickly. Eventually the big leaves fell off and then the baby leaves didn't need as much water, but slowly and surely they are growing. [I put the other two pieces of the cutting in a bowl and inside a plastic baggy that I misted occasionally and usually forgot about. I didn't expect anything out of it, but one of them has started to grow between the leaf and stem. So maybe I will get back the one I lost before.]
