I, like one of the other reviewers here, decided to try this out just to see what it was about and had no expectations besides what I had read online, which varied wildy. The powder I received looked exactly like the pictures posted here on this site. A very fine, light to dark brown powder that dissolved ever so easily into a cup of weak instant coffee. I threw in a rounded teaspoon of this stuff and drank it like I usually would. There was a definite cacao taste which was not unpleasant, reminiscient of a cup of strong hot chocolate. It was only slightly silty, like espresso. Before I had finished the cup I noticed the first alerts, and was pleasantly stimulated and alert and focused for many hours afterward. I did not not feel any cranky, jittery side effects that would typically be associated with caffeine, and did not feel burned out and exhausted after it wore off. Very smooth, clean, and clear-headed. I would definately recommend this to everyone who enjoys a cup of joe in the morning. See for yourself the difference.
