So I'm not really into coffee or yerba mate, they don't really feel good to me. This was a nice change of pace. I chewed a few leaves up and it has a calming but energizing feel to it. Glad to be introduced to this plant. Taste is fine, very reminiscent of other leaves Ive chewed. Will be making a cold/hot filtered infusion soon.
