As I remember, I mixed a soil of equal parts perlite,vermiculite and organic compost and put the cutting directly into the soil. I re-cut the stem for a fresh cut and I think I removed the lowest 2 leaves to expose the nodes. I used a small (3"x3") pot and placed the cutting, pot and all, inside a large zip-lock bag. I would open the bag for an hour or so everyday and would mist lightly before closing it back up. After I felt it began to get good roots I put it in a humidity tent with all my other small plants this past winter. It's been outside all summer and has been healthy the whole time. I thinks it's put out 5 new pairs of leaves since I got it. By the way, you are the only U.S. source I could find for the authentic P.viridis. Others I've ordered turned out to be P.alba, which, I'm sure you know, is commonly misidentified as P.viridis. Thanks again for offering such a precious plant!
