The 10:1 worked as advertised; quality care, quality kava.
It was as potent as expected and took ~1/2 to 2/3 tablespoon to achieve desired effect. It's definitely a daytime kava IME. 2-4 hours of calm warmth, moderate amnesia. slight headache on the tail end and was nauseous for the first several minutes after I chugged a dose in a few gulps; pace yourself and sip it slow. ADD GINGER TO YOUR BLEND it is a godsend.
However, it should be noted that I experienced more pronounced stimulating/warming effects from this extract; I also noted more nausea than usual when consuming the extract in almond-milk. If you like a stimulating daytime kava, try this! I'd suggest going for 20:1 gel caps. This extract is indeed a potent one and well worth the cash.
I would recommend that new customers interested in this listing get gel capsules of kava extracts, and can take one or two of the pills at a time (ideally whilst chewing ginger root in the meantime to keep the stomach calm) on a light stomach (recommend consuming at least a couple hours after eating solid food, longer the better). Chase the dose down with a glass of water (or tea, etc.). encapsulated stuff has a first alert around 20-30 minutes; I'd highly suggest you wait 30-60 minutes in between doses of the extract; slowly immerse yourself in the sea. Slowly. Otherwise seasickness happens and the GI gets upset.
If I were to sample it again, i'd suggest getting gel caps and titrating your dose up as thus. This is a rather potent extract which can exhibit full psychoactive effect with a dose as low as 500 to 2000mg; IME the extract was worth the money, decent, but not a strain of kava i'd get again just because of my reaction to it.
You can always take more
