This is a wonderful plant for anyone wanting to dip their toe in the waters of the oneirogens, the dream-enhancers. I've always been very pleased by the quality of this material, never had a "bunk batch" of uvuma omhlope from H.P.! Out of all of the choices available for exploring the oneirogens, I usually recommend this plant as a good initial starting point. My reasoning for this is that a) the plant achieves the desired effect for me and everyone I've given it to, vivid dreams that have a very rich and deep quality to them and often with some mystical undertones to them, and b) it actually has some mild hypnotic-type effects - very relaxing and dreamy in a non-sedative (and definitely non-inebriating) sort of way. However, paradoxically I have heard reports from others who have worked with this one that if taken in small amounts during the daylight hours it can actually have some focus and general cognition enhancing effects that then still evoke more vivid dreamstates that night. This could be a result of reason c), the potential for neurotrophic activity from some factor in the plant's biochemistry - something that I think most people are interested in.

A very interesting herb for sure! I started with a couple grams and didn't notice much until I adjusted up to five grams per day. After a week I realized I had to adjust down to 3.5 grams on an empty stomach two hours before dinner.you should take it five to six hours before bed.it has a mild psychoactive twang and God do I sleep well after. My dream state has become very pronounced and I've noticed I'm no nearly as " edgey" as before. A sense of calm through out the following day. When I saw it's a Shaka Zulu herb I immediately became interested. It's a white earthy root ground up to a powder and very unique in taste.i love it of course As I consider witch doctor herbs to be very good for my mind body and soul ! I give this a five star rating and will certainly keep using it regularly

I have heard greatly about this product but I am yet to experience any profound dreams after a couple of nights of use. However, every body is different and may take varying times for effects to start taking place. One thing I did notice was waking up the morning of feeling excited to create another beautiful day on earth.

There's def. something to this. While i've only used it twice so far and can not say it's made my dreams more vivid (probably due to other herbs i'm also using), however it did do something because i woke up feeling quite refreshed (felt much better than usual for the whole day). I'm going to experiment around more with this in time to come.

This has quickly become one of my favorite products. For me, it's been the first of the allegedly dream-enhancing herbs that actually managed to enhance my dreams. And by "enhance," I mean the dreams generated are long, extremely detailed, plot & narrative heavy (i.e., they tend to have a distinct start, middle, and ending), and rich in sensory data. In terms of quantity, I'd like to suggest that 1 gram might be way too much for some people. I'm a large guy with generally high tolerances for anything, and 1 gram made me absolutely unable to sleep. It's not like any standard stimulant -- my heart rate's fine, and my thoughts aren't particularly racing -- but I simply cannot sleep, at all. I have this effect even with as little as half a gram, if I have been eating cleanly. So, for me, something in the 300 to 400 mg is perfect. Start LOW. But if you treat this respect, it can be an amazing dream ally.
