Vilca (Anadenanthera colubrina), also known as cebil or angico, is a South American tree closely related to Yopo, or A. peregrina.
Ethnobotany:
Even as recently as 1996 there have been reports of active use of Vilca by Wichi shamans, under the name hatáj [Ott 2001, p.90]. It is also believed that Vilca seeds were consumed orally by the Incas.
